Synopsis

In the small-town architectural mecca of Columbus, Indiana, a young woman (Haley Lu Richardson) develops an unexpected rapport with the visiting son (John Cho) of a visiting Korean architect who has fallen gravely ill. First-time director Kogonada, an acclaimed video essayist, has delivered a remarkable debut feature in which the architectural treasures of this small city mirror the interior lives of the characters.
