Synopsis
Before THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE there was EGGSHELLS, the late, great Tobe Hooper’s first feature. Part experimental documentary, part phantasmagorical musical, the film is a prescient mix of psychedelic, Brakhage-inspired avant-garde cinema, Hammer Horror, and French New Wave all blended together to create a counter-culture social fantasy of rebellion and freedom. We will present the film, along with special guests and a pair of early shorts.
