Synopsis

The newest film from documentary grand master Frederick Wiseman (NATIONAL GALLERY, TITICUT FOLLIES) takes viewers into the labyrinthine confines of the New York Public Library and we meet the people who use and administer the library resources. As always with Wiseman, the artist’s eye finds complexities and beauties that the average viewer might pass right over.
