Synopsis

Director Lisa Cholodenko burst onto the scene with this cooly composed tale of a heroin-addicted photog (the ever-brilliant Ally Sheedy, nearly unrecognizable in a role as far removed from THE BREAKFAST CLUB as imaginable) and an ambitious upstart (Radha Mitchell) who meet, love, and destroy themselves while working on an assignment for the influential Frame magazine.
