Synopsis

Korean writer-director Hong Sang-Soo is making some of the most surprising and insightful work in the world right now, much of it on a small, subdued, but powerful scale. This film, about an aging poet who calls his two sons to join him at an inn for a life reckoning, only to have his resolve shaken by alcohol and the presence of a pair of lively young women, is nestled in the Lagrange point between Larry David and Ingmar Bergman.
