Synopsis
Post-New Wave auteur André Téchiné became Deneuve’s preferred collaborator in the 80s and 90s, his character-driven stories providing her latitude for her expert choices and instincts. MY FAVORITE SEASON is among their most compelling collaborations, and features Deneuve as a lawyer who becomes the unwilling caretaker of her aging mother. Rare 35mm screening thanks to the archive of the Institut Français in Paris.
