Synopsis

In this personal diary-style documentary, director-subject Parker Smith, reeling from a personal tragedy, learns to cope with his complex feelings by hitting the road and making a film about a man he’s never met, a body builder whose massive biceps exploded. It becomes a much more meaningful and personal journey than he expected. The film made a major splash at SXSW Film and has been picked up for national distribution. We are happy to welcome Parker back to AFS for this special screening.
