Synopsis

Newly restored in 4K as part of Cinelimite’s Brazilian Film Digitization Initiative, THE DEVIL QUEEN is an outrageous, sleazy, and shockingly mean queer crime epic that epitomizes the saying “be gay, do crime.” Paired with gay porn pioneer Wakefield Poole’s short portrait of the 1974 San Francisco Gay Freedom Day Parade.
