Synopsis
Hitchcock reaches dizzying heights of mastery with a chilling tale of intrigue, obsession, and desire. In an uncharacteristically disturbing role, James Stewart is a detective in search of a girl and tortured by memories of a love unfulfilled. Scouring the streets, he spots a woman (Kim Novak) who bears uncanny resemblance to his lost love and sets out to not only possess, but create her in the dead woman’s image.
